Galalite

This is the story of my recovery activities of an old warehouse from which I got the old materials for my creations!
In Bologna, there are people who have in their DNA preservation, and recovery;
Annarita Vitali, a degree in Urban Planning with Arch.tto Cervellati, has always been active in the recovery of historical centers,
pursued, working on his own, after a collaboration with the Public Artistic and the Gallery of Modern Art, a recovery, once a jewel and its creation.
Everything stems from the purchase of '
former warehouse "Furlanetto".
Founded in 1925, noted with all the ancient materials, and revived with the artistic creations of Annarita Vitali in 1998.
The company, founded by Romeo Furlanetto in 1925, producing fashion accessories, sold internationally, and collaborated with major designers, including Valentino, Chanel and Balenciaga of which was the distributor for Italy ... just to name a few.
The early death of Romeo Furlanetto, took over his wife Maria, a Calestani Casalmaggiore.
Here was located, the oldest and most important production of jewelry, called 'fool's gold', as not quite valuable, since the second half of 800.
Indeed, it was here that it was invented the gold-plated foil precisely plated in gold, which was a huge success worldwide.
Industries that produce accessories, but not only, you consorziarono, continuing the activity until the '70s.
Everything would be lost if it had not been invented in 1998 the museum of jewelry, with more than thirty thousand pieces which tells the story of the 'evolution of jewelery, which follows very quickly
l 'evolution of the historical period and trends.
Just in 1998, the closing down of Furlanetto Bologna, Annarita Vitali, after two years of cataloging materials, began producing unique pieces with vintage materials, precisely those purchased by the company mentioned above.
In a detached primi'900 born unique thematic artifacts, all strictly made with vintage materials.
This is jewelry theme, as their materials and their historic, recurring themes emerge, however, not only in the world of jewelry but present in many types of art, architecture, iconography, poetry, literature etc.
Interesting anthropological analysis and social trends reveals the reasons ... for example the shells, the first ornament of man, that cyclically, but you could say seasonally emerge, heraldry, the natural themes, etc.
