Per realizzare ornamenti bisogna assemblare componenti a volte diversi tra loro per epoca e materiali,è quindi necessario,per un risultato consapevole ed armonico conoscerne la storia specifica per poi poterne fare uso appropriato. Vi sono infatti connessioni estetiche ed intellettuali che,se ignorate,daranno luogo ad un oggetto casuale,frutto di un consumo volubile,presto superato ed abbandonato con il passare della tendenza in atto. E’ tuttavia da precisare che molto spesso,se non sempre,gli attuali componenti per ornamenti non preziosi ricalcano stilemi passati,vuoi perché gli stampi hanno un costo elevato,e quindi vengono conservati fino all’usura,vuoi perché la moda insegue se stessa e si ripropone in un eterno ritorno,pur con aggiornamenti legati al momento,per quanto riguarda forme e materiali in continua evoluzione(che non significa miglioramento).

Here was located, the oldest and most important production of jewelry, called 'fool's gold', as not quite valuable, since the second half of 800.
